this particular client managed to capture our hearts in a manner that was different from most clients. he was injured in an accident that restricted his movement. He loved models in general. building models, and collecting models is a huge hobby, however, the family needed more space for his passion.
In lieu of this, we designed a seamless staircase with storage under and a lift off the original entry to access the new upper floor. the upper floor was designed to complement the original residence.
The client’s requirements were quite specific on the upper floor. the hobby room, large spaces, large hallways and general spacious areas were essential. we designed a stunning upper floor with many facilities and features. all areas were easily accessible including the kitchenette and sitting room.
The upper floor is comprised of a huge hobby room, sitting room with kitchenette, lift huge balcony, 2 large bedrooms, additional storage, a bathroom and a powder room. the result is outstanding. A beautiful second-storey extension that gels with the ground floor and creates all the spaces our client was looking for. the only remaining thing to do is to fill all the massive spaces with new models.
