Noranda
Amanda and Jason wanted more living space and an outdoor entertainment area while modernising and updating their home. They wanted their home to have the bright, spacious appearance that modern design can provide. Most of all, they loved their neighbourhood and really didn’t want to move away from it.
We built them a ground floor home extension consisting of a portico, activity room, formal entry and two extra bedrooms. We repitched the frame over the existing carport. To modernise the entire home and make the transition seamless, we texture coated the entire exterior. The result is a large, bright, airy, modern home with all the space they need.
Amanda and Jason now call it their “dream home.”
Nedlands
Pierre wanted us to extend a period bungalow that was built on land with a large drop. In addition, there was already an upper floor balcony that restricted ground floor roof heights. It was our job to provide Pierre with a seamless home extension.
We used a terracing and an open floor plan to create a fluid design. We converted the original kitchen into a bathroom and storage area. Then we turned the meals area into a lobby which stepped down into an open plan hallway, laundry and reading nook. Then we built stairs leading down into an open plan kitchen, meals and family area.
We integrated the open area with an alfresco area and an outdoor swimming pool.
